Position Overview

A metal fabrication manufacturer in East Tulsa is seeking a high-energy, employee-focused HR Assistant to join their team. This hands-on role focuses on employee relations, fundamental HR processes, and various HR-related duties as assigned.


Job Description

  • Provide daily customer service-style interaction with all employees.
  • Guide applicants through the direct-hire process.
  • Coordinate interviews for potential hourly candidates with managers and supervisors.
  • Perform data entry, including W-4 changes, direct deposit changes, and payroll deductions.
  • Handle monthly reporting requirements.
  • Ensure all temporary employees are entered into the system and update employment statuses as needed.
  • Conduct communication meetings in a manufacturing environment.
  • Assure compliance with all division and corporate policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

  • Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail is essential.
  • Strong communication skills required.
  • Ability to multitask in a busy office environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly strong Excel skills.
  • Ability to maintain employee confidentiality is required.
